Toronto Blue Jays designated hitter Kendrys Morales exited Tuesday’s game against the Cleveland Indians with left hamstring tightness.

Steve Pearce replaced Morales in the Blue Jays’ lineup in the seventh inning.

Morales says he suffered the injury in his second at-bat and felt tightness as he jogged back to the dugout. It is his first time dealing with this type of injury.

The 33-year-old will have an MRI on Wednesday.
