Tennis ace Serena Williams, who is expecting a child with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, recently joined the boardroom of online survey firm SurveyMonkey, based in Silicon Valley. According to The Guardian, the 35-year-old’s connection to SurveyMonkey came through her friendship with Sheryl Sandberg, a member of the board.
Williams, who has a record 23 Grand Slam single titles, said that she wants to boost diversity in the tech industry. "I feel like diversity is something I speak to.
Change is always happening. What is important to me is to be at the forefront of the change and to make it easier for the next person," she said.
