india's top four batsmen Shikhar Dhawan Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh all score fifties as team posta huge total of 319 for the loss of 3 wickets against rivals Pakistan today.
Earlier, India were 173 for one against Pakistan when rain stopped play for the second time in the marquee clash of the Champions Trophy here today.
Rohit Sharma was batting on 77 off 108 and captain Virat Kohli on 24 off 27 when covers were brought in. Shikhar Dhawan was the only batsmen to be dismissed. He scored 68 off 65 balls.
Earlier in the innings, play was stopped for 50 minutes due to rain.
Pakistan started with pace of Amir and left-arm spin of Imad Wasim.
While Amir conceded 14 runs in four overs, the Indian batsmen were more comfortable against Wasim, who gave away 27 runs in 4.5 overs.
Pacer Hasan Ali conceded five runs in the only he bowled before rain arrived at Edgbaston. Pakistan won the toss and elected to field.
