Former tennis stars Andre Agassi donated $1 million to the Cleveland Clinic Ruvo Center for Brain Health during the 21st Annual Power of Love Gala on Thursday night at Las Vegas.

Agassi, who won 60 titles before retiring from professional tennis in 2006, received the event’s Community Leadership Award for founding the public charter school Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy.

During his speech, he thanked the Center’s founder Larry Ruvo, and his wife Camille. “They’ve been there with me every step along the way, sometimes next to me, sometimes behind me,” he said.
